A few months ago, I bought the last jar of your Old Fashioned Pretzels at Win Dixie in Florida. Not only were they Great, they were made a way that was different than always. I have been eating your pretzels for over 40 years, I used to buy them in New England at Stop & Shop stores. At that time they were in white boxes and about 20 per box, but they were dark, salty and crisp and never disappointed in taste.
When I moved to Fl about 15 years ago, I went crazy looking for your products down here. I finally found your mini rods in a plastic container at Sam’s stores, they were good, better than nothing, but enjoyable and good for dipping. Then Sam’s, for whatever reason stopped carrying them.
Now at this time I am able to pick them up at our local supermarkets, great, but I found a UNICORN jar which I am writing about. That container had the darkened, crispy hard, liberally salted, and the most pretzel washed taste then I ever experienced in your product line. I have been looking around and hoping to find another but seems unattainable. That is why I’m writing, if only all your Old Fashioned Pretzels Rods were made that way, it would be the ones to buy. I’m sure this was a end of run or beginning of a batch which was produced before corrected to today’s standards, but boy, I wish they were all that way, and to find more would be a real treat.

I love these pretzels. This is my second order directly from UTZ as the grocery store near me has not had them in stock. The only issue I have is they tend to break pretty good in shipping whereas shipping to the store shelves leaves them all in one solid piece.

We love these pretzel rods, but we wish that they would package them in such a way that they would not have so much breakage. The reality is the breakage I was told is to be expected, but not this kind of breakage because it looks like they just put those in with the pretzels in the barrel. .
